Addition to the church
We are in the process of making some changes to our church. We want to be able to serve our senior members as well as any new members that may need these facilities. We are adding a handicap accessible restroom as well as a larger vestibule on the front.
The sanctuary will be closed for several months while the addition is taking place. Our worship services and bible studies on Wednesday evenings will be in the Fellowship Hall.
The following is a list of things that will help everyone during this time.

Those coming from the church basement for worship are asked to use the walks (not the grass) and come through the double doors of the fellowship hall for service. This will help to keep our floor a little cleaner.

We ask that you fill up the front chairs first and leave the back for late comers.

Greeters/deacons are asked to take name, address, and phone of any visitors.

Restrict coming in and going out to a minimum during worship services to cut down on the distractions.

Please do not leave any items in the chairs after our services. This will help with the upkeep.

Pray daily for the construction to go smoothly, safe, and completion on time. Pray for the workers.

Before work was started. 08-17-02
Work was finally started after getting all of the permits. You will notice that the columns have been removed, and supports installed. Here is the end of the first week. - 10-05-02
The old porch is gone. Waiting for the ground to dry enough for the footers. - 10-19-02
The rain has finally stopped (although we have needed it). Footers have been poured. Waiting on the block and brick - 11-02-02
The block and brick have been done. Next thing to do is to pour the floor. - 11-24-02
Floor has been poured and the the walls are starting to go up. Notice that the vinyl siding was removed to be used later. We had a snow during this week, so work was only able to be done on Monday and Tuesday. - 12-08-02
The new roofline has been built. And you can also see some of the internal walls as well. - 12-21-02
The brickwork has finally started. (Yoo Hoo) The roof has been shingled, the front boarded, and the new columns in place. - 01-12-03
A lot of work has taken place over the last couple of months. Most of it has been inside. We hope to be back in the church within the next couple of weeks. - 4-14-03
As you can see, the work is almost done. Just a few plants, some work on the yard, and the outside is complete. The inspector is due sometime this week.
We've added two stain glass windows on the front, they are shown below. The sanctuary also looks a little barren. The refinished pews should be done in the next week or so. - 4-26-03
